I use the acting instructions frequently. I have one instruction I use
a lot
because my main character talks to himself: Quiet ethereal introspective voice heard within his head.
As you can see, it's pretty long to keep typing out. I do copy and paste it frequently, but I also end up with other repeatedly used acting instructions which makes juggling copying and pasting a hassle.
Repeating acting instructions comes up a lot in dialogue. Two characters are emotionally talking to each other, one is in one emotional state while the other is in a different emotional state. So I have to copy and paste juggling their acting instructions through their conversation.
I have two use cases for saved acting instructions: Project Wide, and Chapter Wide. My above example I'd like to save as "project wide" since I use it so often. But other times it's just a repeated acting instruction that is only needed just for the current chapter, and then isn't so necessary for the other chapters.
I wouldn't want this saved list to get bogged down with a lot of them accruing over time. I'd want it simple to add and simple to delete a saved instruction. Another idea is that the last X number of acting instructions are always saved, and the most recently used instruction floats to the top, and the oldest falls off the list.
