If hume could open up the door to VOIP providers that would be amazing. I do undrstand that Twillio is kind of a defualt in the space, but they are really a terrible company, and even though I am being biased (Twillio user for 12 years) it would be great to have flexibility. Someone recently hacked my twillio account and becuase of it I am now banned and can't use Twillio - now i am out of the game to use hume in any capacity becuase only one VOIP provider is an option.
What would be even better is if we could get a SIP integration maybe and we could add any procider and not be just limited to Twillio!
Also Twillio is very expensive for some and they are not even able to get the numbers that they need sometimes.

Tylan Miller Thanks for sharing your feedback and concerns regarding Twilio—I'm sorry to hear about your experience.
I’d like to clarify that while we do provide a convenient Twilio webhook, our API is fully flexible and designed to be integrated with any VoIP provider that supports custom integrations. You're not limited exclusively to Twilio; developers are free to build integrations with other providers of their choice.
We understand the importance of flexibility, and your suggestion about providing easier SIP integrations is also valuable—I'll make sure to pass this along to our product team for consideration.
